Curiosity Killed The Cat
Curiosity killed the cat. This phrase can be a little misguiding and given the circumstance it can be a sense of impediment. Life is a curious thing. Each and every day something new is learned; something is found; something is lost. Where would we be without curiosity? Could you imagine how your life would be like if you had never been curious enough to go out and find out for yourself? I know I couldn’t. It would simply be too boring.
I mentioned about a lovely little place called Vernacula. A little place where I never thought I’d find the perfect pair of pants. You’re probably thinking really? How perfect can a pair of pants be? Well they can be pretty fucking perfect. I was searching endlessly for a pair of classic, beige, skinny pants with pleats on each leg. A pair that will subtly flaunt these run-of-the-mill, yet particularly stuffy legs, to be worn somewhere where pants need to be worn. A pair of pants that can be paired with all shades of white. So could you imagine my excitement when I walked into a store for nothing in particular and found the pants that I had mentally perfected days on end? It was as if a wizard had stolen the image in my head and placed them right in front of me. It was Magical.
Curiously enough I had not read the label until I got home and realized these magical pair of pants were made by a blogger I happened to be stalking a few days back. There is a story behind nothing and anything you come across and I was too lit up with the idea of finding out how Fashionrella and these perfect pair of pants came to be.
In the words of Journey, this small town girl, living in a lonely world, took the midnight train down to follow her damn dreams. Passion lies within all of us but for many of us, it is easily misplaced and for the best of us, it is what guides us through to making our dreams come true. Fiorella de Lübbe has been guided through life with the notion of making things happen. Specifically, making her brand and her blog happen. It began with finishing her studies in business administration in Germany along with help and employment of Tommy Hilfiger. There was this light pull that drew her into the world of fashion. This hazy pull ultimately came from all the trips to Paris she had taken with the company. She was enamored by the Parisian streets, the delicacy à la mode, and coming across all those bloggers that simply urged her to start her blog and pursue this movement in the world of fashion. Her mind was curious but dedicated to one day having something of her own; a brand of her own that was created with magic and inspirations. A brand and look that embodied every tendency that enticed, every street that had style, and every moment that could be captured.
