I think the culprit behind the sporadic dark circles around my eyes are the combination of my terrible sleeping patterns and being in front of a computer screen all day. Both of which are inevitable, till further notice. I decided to add a little more steps into my skincare routine and finally find the best eye cream to take care of the Chanel bags I carry under my eyes.

VII Code reached out to me not too long ago and since I was already looking for an eye cream I decided to try them out.

Putting creams and serums around my eyes has always been a scary process for me. My skin can be a bit sensitive and my skin has broken out in a rash in the past and will sometimes get super dry from certain products.

I have shared my skincare routine with you in the past and I have changed it up a bit. I added a charcoal mask once a week, a gauze peeling that I use twice a week, essential oils as moisturizer that I use every morning and evening, a matte pore minimizing lotion, and finally, an eye cream from VII Code that will fix my puffiness, dark circles, and keep me looking refreshed from all the restless nights.

The eye cream comes in a is small container and you only need to use a tiny bit. A little goes a long way with this one! It feels nice on the skin and it doesn’t leave it at all oily. It’s key ingredients are Elderberries, Jojoba Oil, and Evening Primrose.

I have been using it every morning and evening before I got to bed. Before putting this on you need to use the activation strip (pictured above) and glide it around the eyes. It is exclusive to the product and it helps smooth and refresh the eye area before moisturizing and massaging the cream around your eyes.

I have only used it a week so far and love it but I’m giving it about a month to actually notice any changes. I’ll keep you all updated!

Update: I’ve used in for almost another week since I finished writing this post and can already spot a difference!
