A little white dress for every occasion
Do ya have any fun plans coming up this summer? Unless you’re invited to a wedding, this little white dress could be the perfect one for all your dressy occasions. I mean, if I could go back in time, I’d definitely make this my graduation dress!
A little white dress is such a key staple and this Faith in Elegance Crochet Shift Dress from Chicwish is one to add to your collection. I ordered the M and it fit perfectly. I’m a 32DDD and the chest didn’t feel too tight. The only thing I plan on fixing is the length. I want to make it shorter since I’m pretty short and want to wear this with sneakers.

Being 5’2″ I’ve realized I hate wearing flats or sneakers with anything at knee length because it makes me look stubby and out of proportion.

Not sure how sustainable the brand is but it seems items are not mass produced, which is a good thing! The dress was gifted. I’ve ordered a few things (like this leopard skirt!!) from them in the past. Everything I’ve ordered is TTS and great quality. My only issue is length on a few items, but I personally don’t mind having my clothes hemmed.

I’m choosing to work with brands that have a purpose and meet ethical standards and it’s been pretty difficult but I understand it is probably just as difficult for a lot of you too. I won’t beat myself up over it. I’m not sure where Chicwish falls, but if you read my post on slow fashion, you’d understand why I’m trying to steer away from the fast fashion industry. I know I’m not perfect so I’m going to try and do my best, and in the meantime, I’ll include sustainable alternatives to choose from.
