Today on Delirium Style I’m sharing my look from the second day at the beach was pretty similar to the first except we decided to go out to dinner. The look I went for was something casual but still a bit dressy to go out for a bite to eat that night and maybe stop for a few drinks before heading back to the hotel. I bought my skirt from Hollister which I rarely ever shop in because it reminds me of where I used to shop when I was much younger and those nerve-wracking days only bring back very tacky, very bad, and very awful fashion memories and decisions. Anyhow, I loved this black & white patterned skirt because it’s a long & high-waisted but is still very casual and I don’t ever worry about being too dressed up. It’s one of those staple pieces you should own and I recommend anyone to buy a similar one. This weekend was filled with trying new things, I mean the strapless top? Strapless is not even in my fashion vocabulary. I have to worry about finding the right size, making sure to keep pulling it up and fixing it, it’s just too much for me. But I decided to wear this top because I found it in one of my drawers thinking they were shorts but when I put it on it felt like it was painted on and it felt amazing. It just stuck on and I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

So in retrospect, if you’re looking for a dressy/casual look for the summer or beach I recommend a pair of nice sandals or wedges, a long patterned high-waisted skirt, a tight crop top, a colorful statement necklace and either a Longchamp or a cross-body purse. [dropcap]M[/dropcap]i segundo día en la playa fue parecido al primer día, excepto que decidimos ir a cenar. Quise ir por un look casual pero un poco elegante para cenar esa noche y tal vez tomar unas copas antes de regresar al hotel. Compré mi falda en Hollister. Casi nunca compro ahi porque me recuerda cuando era chibola y esas épocas solamente traen recuerdos muy huachafos y vergonzosos. De todos modos, me encantó esta falda estampada porque es larga, casual pero aun un poquito elegante, y no me tengo que preocupar de estar muy elegante. Es una de esas piezas que debes tener en tu armario y les recomiendo a todas que compren una parecida. Decidí usar este croptop porque 1) lo encontré en uno de mis cajones pensando que era un short y 2) cuando me lo puse parecía que lo tenia pintado, es súper cómodo y se sentía increíble porque no tenia que preocuparme de cómo me quedada o si se me bajaba.

Bueno en conclusión, si están buscando un look elegante/casual para el verano o la playa les recomiendo un par de sandalias bonitas, una falda a la cintura larga, un croptop pegadito, un collar de un color fuerte y llamativo y una cartera cruzada o una tipo Longchamp.
