I was originally going to write some cheesy story about the wynwood walls and the funny way they made me feel and the way they made me smile and that the colors were so damn bright I wish they’d be made out of candy so I could lick them all. I refrained.

Why? Because I was more excited about the donut shop than any power puff painted wall. I needed a donut so I woke up one morning on a mission to find the best tasting donut in all the lands in the closest proximity possible and I did. The salty donut and their savory combination of maple, bacon so much fucking deliciousness won me right over and I’ve developed quite the crush. A very bad, very obsessive, very toxic crush with the maple bacon donut at The Salty Donut.

I won’t talk about the devastating days I’ve experienced as I count down the days to drive back to Miami but I will talk about my white culottes. My crush with culottes is not half as bad since my culottes are giving me a bit of love back and not giving me feelings of overindulging guilt. They’re also hiding the terrible effects of eating not one but TWO maple bacon donuts in a row and making me look good (or at least less of a fat ass) while doing so. And no, I didn’t share any of it.

I also realized I never pay full price because I always try to find the best deals which is probably my favorite part of shopping. It feels fantastic walking out with twice the clothes because of how much I saved. I bought this pair of culottes a few months back at Zara but Michael Kors are selling similar ones for $40! The top was $13 at H&M and the shoes (which are one of my favorite pairs) are from Nordstrom Rack. How do you pair your culottes? I usually prefer to pair them with heels and a crop top.
