A delirium style diy: tee makeover

There are two extremes in the shopping spectrum. To the far left lie those compulsive shoppers who would cut off an arm to have those glorious shoes sitting next to the 100 other pairs you sold your soul for. Then, to the right there are those other shoppers who don’t need to shop, those who are comfortable with what they have and only shop when needed. Then, there is me. I fall into bipolar tantrums that will land on either extreme. One minute I’ll be in a shopping frenzy, happy as can be, and then come home to a sudden panic attack and wake up to all my credit cards chopped up and swearing that I’ll never step into another mall again. Within those few days of pure shopping hatred I make things and I try to remake the old into something new. While having one of those episodes, I had the T-shirt I was close to throwing away get a gemstone makeover.

You will need: an old tee, fabric paint, and gemstones (which you can find at any craft store or online)DSC_0437

Step one: Pick your stones and layout the design you want and place paper or cloth inside of shirt so the glue doesn’t stick the shirt together.

Step two: grab your glue and glue all the stones.

Step three: let dry and take it for a stroll around town. I’ll post the full outfit tomorrow!
