Today on Delirium Style I want to talk about my favorite blazer. While I’m in New York this week doing touristy things and taking tons of pictures I want to share with you a post from last week or so on my favorite black summer blazer. This is my absolute favorite blazer. It’s a pretty old one from Express (and I got in on sale) but after all this time I still love it. Summertime gets pretty hot but even then I want to have a light jacket with me and this blazer is perfect in spite of the hot weather. I also can’t get enough of Parisian street style so I am trying to incorporate it into my wardrobe as much as I can. I paired jeans with a t-shirt, this black blazer and topped it off with brown heels. I’ve learned the key to pulling off a Parisian look is dependent on three things: simplicity, a blazer, & a classic pair of heels. So, A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend a little get-together at Izea with a few Central Florida Bloggers. When I started blogging I couldn’t imagine how many bloggers there were nor did I want to. I thought that if I ignored it slightly and just started writing, I would somehow stand out and be instantly recognized. I was wrong. I was way off. I’ve had my ups and downs but I keep learning something new everyday. I am as quite as a mouse and as shy as can be so things can get pretty intimidating when it comes to putting myself out there.

After I learned that ignorance is not bliss, I have been taking every opportunity I can to meet tons of bloggers, joining blogger groups on Facebook and signing up for tons of sites to help my content get out there and attending any events even if I have to go alone.
