How to dress when it’s too hot and still be formal

Meetings, presentations, or interviews can be a little intimidating. Especially if you live somewhere as hot as Florida, suits aren’t always the best option and it’s difficult to find an appropriate formal dress for the occasion. So when it is too hot to even function and I have a formal meeting I will usually go with a black dress that is not too short (right above the knee) and a blazer. I don’t like putting on too much make up just enough to make myself look natural and well a little less sleep depraved. I’m aware that suits, or pants and a blouse is usually what you should aim for, but when it’s too hot I just don’t feel confortable or confident enough to pull it off. However, you can still be formally dressed for the heat if you find the appropriate dress.
